Here it is...felted and all. The strangest thing happened with the handles. I made 2, identical I-cord straps and mysteriously, one felted more than the other. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
I modified this pattern and used Cascade 220 Colonial Blue Heather.

Never had that happen with handles... but how did the bag end up felting width vs. length since you were concerned about it? Is it lengthier than you expected?
I actually felted a test piece. Quite shocking, but I wanted to get as close as I could to Jennifer's request.
The bag felted a little differently than the gauge, but was close enough. I aimed for 12 x 15 and got 13 x 14.5.
